Ingredients

1Stick butter or oleo
8Cloves garlic, chopped
3tablespoonsFlour (or more)
½teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonOregano
1largeOnion, chopped
¾Bunch parsley, chopped
2Bunches green onions chopped
¼teaspoonPepper
2Dozen medium patty shells
5Dozen oysters

Directions

Saute onions, greeen onions, garlic in butter until golden brown.

Add flour and brown. Chop oysters; reserve liquid. Add oysters, parsley and oregano, simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper. If mixture is too thick, add oyster water for desired consistency.
