8 ounces | Bow Ties or Radiatore OR other medium pasta shape, uncooked |
4 ounces | Fresh snow peas washed and trimmed |
2 \N | Red bell peppers ribs and seeds removed, cut in strips |
4 \N | Scallions; thinly sliced |
3 cups | Fresh broccoli florets |
2 cups | Diced cooked chicken |
1 tablespoon | Sesame oil |
1 tablespoon | Peanut oil |
2 tablespoons | Red wine vinegar |
½ teaspoon | Hot sauce |
2 teaspoons | Honey |
½ teaspoon | Garlic powder |
½ teaspoon | Ground ginger |
3 tablespoons | Sesame seeds |
\N \N | Salt and pepper to taste |
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and cool. Add the snow peas, red pepper, scallions, broccoli and diced chicken. Combine remaining ingredients and pour the dressing over the pasta mixture.
Toss lightly. Cover and chill.
Note: Diced turkey or water-packed tuna may be substituted for the cooked chicken.
