Orange sour cream cookies

Yield: 60 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2½ cup Flour
1 teaspoon Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Butter
1½ cup Brown sugar; firmly packed
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Orange rind; grated
1 cup Dairy sour cream
½ cup Pecans; chopped
1½ tablespoon Soft butter
1½ teaspoon Orange rind; grated
3 tablespoons Orange juice
3 cups Sifted powdered sugar

FROSTING

Sift dry ingredients and set aside. Cream butter and brown sugar, add eggs, vanilla, orange rind and sour cream. Stir in dry ingredients, blending well. Add nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes. Top with frosting while still warm. About 5 doz.

FROSTING: Combine all ingredients, beating well until spreading consistency. Place ¼ teaspoon frosting on each cookie.
