Orange double chocolate chip cookies (the grand marniers)

| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | cup | Nuts |
| 1½ | cup | Raisins |
| 2 | cups | Chocolate chips |
| 1 | cup | Butter |
| ¾ | cup | Sugar |
| ¾ | cup | Brown sugar |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 3 | tablespoons | Grand Marnier |
| 3 | teaspoons | Orange extract |
Directions
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, liqueur, and extract. Blend in dry ingredients. Stir in nuts, chips, and raisins. Bake at 375 degrees F 10 minutes or until done. Makes
6-7 dozen.
By the way, this recipe originally came from the net. It won a Betty Crocker cookoff (or something) for best recipe. The recipe as given contained 1¾ cups of flour but I discovered that the cookies came out too flat and crunchy so I upped it to 2 ¼ (the standard cookie amount) and I've had nothing but praise for them ever since.
