Olives with sauce

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 tablespoons Oil
4 Garlic cloves; up to 5
⅛ teaspoon Turmeric
2 tablespoons Tomato paste mixed with 1/2 cup water
2 pounds Pitted green olives
Salt & pepper to taste

Heat the oil. Add garlic & turmeric & sauté 1 minute. Add tomato paste/water mixture, olives, salt & pepper & mix. Simmer covered over low heat about 15-20 minutes.

This can be served warm as a side dish or cold as a condiment.
