Olives with sauce

Ingredients

3tablespoonsOil
4Garlic cloves; up to 5
teaspoonTurmeric
2tablespoonsTomato paste mixed with 1/2 cup water
2poundsPitted green olives
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Heat the oil. Add garlic & turmeric & sauté 1 minute. Add tomato paste/water mixture, olives, salt & pepper & mix. Simmer covered over low heat about 15-20 minutes.

This can be served warm as a side dish or cold as a condiment.
