⅛ teaspoon | Turmeric |
2 tablespoons | Tomato paste mixed with 1/2 cup water |
2 pounds | Pitted green olives |
\N \N | Salt & pepper to taste |
Heat the oil. Add garlic & turmeric & sauté 1 minute. Add tomato paste/water mixture, olives, salt & pepper & mix. Simmer covered over low heat about 15-20 minutes.
This can be served warm as a side dish or cold as a condiment.
