Oldtime maple gingerbread

1cupSour cream
1teaspoonGinger
1teaspoonSoda
1eachEgg, beaten
1cupMaple syrup
½teaspoonSalt

Directions

Combine and sift dry ingredients. Mix maple syrup with beaten egg and add the sour cream. Combine the mixtures and bake in moderate oven for about 40 minutes.
