No-bake oatmeal gelatin cookies

Measure Ingredient
3 ounces Jello Strawberry Gelatin
¾ cup Sugar
½ cup Milk
1 tablespoon Karo Light Corn Syrup
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
¾ cup Quaker Oats quick-cooking oatmeal; uncooked
¾ cup Bakers' flake coconut
¼ cup Chopped nutmeats; (walnuts, pecans, almonds)

Combine gelatin, sugar, milk, salt and syrup in medium size saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to soft ball stage, 236 degrees.

Remove from heat, stir in butter or margarine, oatmeal coconut and nuts.

Drop immediately by tablespoon onto waxed paper. Cool. Store in airtight container.
