3/16 pounds | Onions, chopped |
3 ounces | General purpose flour |
30⅔ ounce | Canned tomatoes, crushed |
1/16 ounce | Mace, ground -or Nutmeg |
⅛ ounce | Salt |
3/16 teaspoon | Pepper |
1. Cook beef with onions in its own fat until beef loses its pink color, stirring to break apart. Drain or skim off excess fat. 2.
Sprinkle flour over beef; continue cooking until flour is absorbed.
3. Add tomatoes, mace or nutmeg, salt and pepper. Stir well. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. 4. Serve over Toast, biscuits, rice or pasta.
