Nana's rice pudding

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
⅔ cup Converted Rice
1 quart Milk
1 can Evaporated milk (small)
2 tablespoons Butter
2 teaspoons Vanilla
⅓ cup Sugar
1 \N Egg, beaten
\N \N Nutmeg

Place all ingredients in a pot. Add 1 can (evaporated milk can) of water.

Bring to a boil. Add nutmeg to taste. Simmer, stirring frequently until it begins to thicken, about 50 minutes. Pour into a serving bowl and chill.
