Mr food's bars of brickle - 8/18/95

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Butter -- softened
¼ cup Sugar
¼ cup Corn syrup
1½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
2½ cup All-purpose flour
1 pack Brickle bits -- (7 1/2 oz)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, using an electric beater, cream the butter with the sugar and corn syrup. Add the vanilla and flour; mix well. Stir in the brickle bits, then press the mixture into an ungreased 9"x13" baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until light golden. Cut into bars while still warm.
