Mr burns' french toast

1 | cup | Flour |
2½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
12 | slices | Thick slices of bread |

\N | \N | Cinnamon |
\N | \N | Sugar |
\N | \N | Maple syrup |
TOPPINGS
Blend together the eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla and milk. Slowly stir in flour and baking powder and continue mixing until smooth. Dip bread into batter, allowing excess to drip off. In hot skillet with 1-inch/3cm. of oil, fry on both sides until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Top with cinnamon sugar (1½ tbsp./20ml. cinnamon and ¾ cup/175 ml. sugar) and maple syrup.
