Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Corn meal | 
| 1 | cup | Buttermilk | 
| ½ | teaspoon | Baking soda | 
| 2 | Eggs; beaten | |
| ½ | cup | Oil | 
| 1 | cup | Cream style corn | 
| 3 | Jalapeno peppers; chopped | |
| 1 | cup | Grated cheese | 
| 1 | large | Onion; choppped | 
Directions
Mix all ingredients except cheese. Put half of cheese into mixture. Pour into 10-inch heavy iron skillet and cover with remainder of cheese. Bake at 350 for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
