Masala chilly fry

Measure Ingredient
½ kilograms Steak, cubed
6 \N Red chillies
2 teaspoons Turmeric
1 teaspoon Cummin
6 \N Cloves garlic
\N \N Salt to taste
1 teaspoon Ground pepper
1 \N 1-inch piece ginger
4 \N Cloves
1 \N 2-inch piece cinnamon
3 \N Black cardamoms, seeds from
½ teaspoon Instant tamarind (tamcon)

Grind together all the ingredients (except meat). Add a little water to make a paste. Mix masala with meat and marinate for two hours. Fry the meat in a little oil over a low heat for about 20 minutes. Add 1 cup of water and simmer until meat is tender.
