Maple-walnut pie

Ingredients

19 inch pie crust; unbaked
4largesEggs
¾cupMaple syrup
Few squirts fresh lemon juice
1dashCinnamon
¼cupMelted butter
½teaspoonVanilla
½teaspoonSalt
2cupsWalnut pieces

Directions

Beat together everything except walnuts. You can use a blender, wire whisk, or electric mixer. Just make sure the mixture is light and smooth.

Spread the walnuts into the unbaked crust. Pour the batter over the nuts and bake 30 minutes, or until solid. Serve warm or cold, with whipped cream or ice cream.
