Maple-glazed carrots

Measure Ingredient
1¼ pounds Baby carrots; prepeeled and washed
1 tablespoon Plus 2 tsp. unsalted butter
3¼ tablespoon Maple syrup

Prep: 5 min, Cook: 25 min.

Place carrots in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover pan and steam about 8 minutes or until tender-crisp. Drain. Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Saut‚ carrots 10 minutes, gently stirring occasionally until they are glazed and golden. Pour maple syrup over carrot mixture and heat to boiling. Boil 2 minutes, stirring frequently until carrots are lightly coated with glaze.
