Luscious lamb burgers

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground lamb
1 tablespoon Plain nonfat yogurt; plus 1 teaspoon
1¼ teaspoon Fresh oregano; minced
¾ teaspoon Fresh thyme; minced
1 tablespoon Lemon juice; plus 1 teaspoon
2 Garlic cloves. finely minced

Prepare an outside grill with an oiled rack set 4 inches above the heat source. On a gas grill, set the heat to high. Combine the meat with the remaining ingredients. Shape into 4 patties. Grill the burgers, turning once, according to the following guidelines: 6 minutes for rare, 8 minutes for medium, or 10 minutes for well done.

Per serving: calories 301, fat 20.5g, 62% calories from fat, cholesterol 102mg, protein 26.2g, carbohydrates 1.8g, fiber 0.2g, sodium 65mg.
