Lowfat marinara sauce

Ingredients

1tablespoonOlive oil
¾cupChopped onion
1teaspoonDried rosemary -- crushed
4Cloves garlic -- crushed
½teaspoonSugar
¼teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonPepper
14½ounceTomatoes, canned undrained, chopped
¼cupFresh basil -- finely chopped

Directions

Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, rosemary, and garlic; sauté 3 minutes. Add sugar and next 3 ingredients; cook, uncovered, over medium heat 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in basil. Serve with breadsticks.
