Lowfat marinara sauce

Ingredients

| ¾ | cup | Chopped onion |
| 1 | teaspoon | Dried rosemary -- crushed |
| 4 | Cloves garlic -- crushed | |
| ½ | teaspoon | Sugar |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 14½ | ounce | Tomatoes, canned undrained, chopped |
| ¼ | cup | Fresh basil -- finely chopped |
Directions
Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, rosemary, and garlic; sauté 3 minutes. Add sugar and next 3 ingredients; cook, uncovered, over medium heat 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in basil. Serve with breadsticks.
