Lower fat guacamole

Ingredients

½cupCanned green peas; rinsed with cool water for 2 minutes and drained
2tablespoonsLow-fat mayonnaise
1tablespoonLemon juice
¼mediumAvocado; peeled, pitted, slightly mashed
½cupTomato; chopped
¼cupOnion; finely chopped
1tablespoonSalsa
¼teaspoonGarlic salt
¼teaspoonChili powder

Directions

In a food processor, blend peas, mayonnaise and lemon juice until ultra- smooth. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour. Season to taste. Serve with baked tortilla chips. Makes 2 cups.
