Yield: 1 Servings
|1 cup||Coarsely chopped pecans|
|½ cup||Brown sugar; packed|
|½ cup||Butter; melted|
|2 tablespoons||Light corn syrup|
|1 pack||Butter pecan cake mix|
Heat oven to 350. Mix pecans, brown sugar, butter and corn syrup in a small bowl. Spread onto bottom of ungreased 9X13" pan. Make cake as per box directions and pour over pecan mixture. Bake as directed on package. Run knife around edges to loosen, immediately invert onto serving pan. Leave pan over cake for 5 minutes, then remove. Serve warm or cold.
NOTES : May substitute butter recipe yellow cake mix if you can't find pecan. Nice with cinnamon whipped cream. Just add a teaspoon of cinnamon to a container of cool whip.
