Lime-grilled salmon steaks with tomato avocado salsa

1 | teaspoon | Grated lime zest |
¼ | cup | Fresh lime juice |
1 | each | Tomato, diced |
1 | each | Ripe avocado, peeled & diced |
2 | tablespoons | Fresh lime juice |
1 | tablespoon | Olive oil |
1 | teaspoon | Jalapeno, minced |
¼ | cup | Red onion, minced |
1 | teaspoon | Jalapeno, minced |
2 | tablespoons | Cilantro, chopped |
Directions
TOMATO AVACADO SALSA
Marinate salmon steaks in remaining ingredients in shallow glass bowl at room temperature for 30min, or in the refrigerator for 1hr. Prepare barbecue and oil grill. Remove steaks to grill, reserving marinade, and grill over medium heat for approx. 10 min. or until salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork, turning once and basting with marinade halfway through cooking time. (follow same method to broil in oven on well-oiled broiling pan.) ... Tomato Avocado Salsa ...
