Lentil potato burgers

Ingredients

½cupChopped yellow onion
½cupChopped celery
¼cupWater
2cupsLentils, cooked & mashed
2cupsPotatoes, mashed
1cupWhole wheat bread crumbs
1teaspoonParsley
teaspoonSage
1teaspoonThyme
½teaspoonMarjoram
¼teaspoonRosemary
teaspoonBlack pepper

Directions

Preheat the oven 350F.

Saute the onion and celery in water about 10 mins. Combine in a bowl with the remaining ingredients and mix well. Form into patties and place on a nonstick baking sheet.

Bake 20 mins, then turn and bake an additional 20 mins.

Serve hot on toasted whole wheat burger buns.
