Layered casserole

Ingredients

1poundsGround turkey breast or chicken breast
¾cupOnion; chopped
½Green pepper; chopped
1cup1% cottage cheese
1can(8-oz) tomato sauce
3tablespoonsLite sour cream
6tablespoonsLite cream cheese
1teaspoonSalt
½cupFat free cheese
3cupsCooked pasta; drained
Black pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat and onion in large skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer 7-8 minutes. In large bowl combine green pepper, cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Spray large casserole dish (9x13-inch) with non-stick cooking spray. Cover bottom with pasta. Add a layer of meat mixture. Pour cottage cheese mixture for next layer and top with shredded fat free cheese.Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Entire recipe makes 8 servings.
