Layered casserole

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground turkey breast or chicken breast
¾ cup Onion; chopped
½ \N Green pepper; chopped
1 cup 1% cottage cheese
1 can (8-oz) tomato sauce
3 tablespoons Lite sour cream
6 tablespoons Lite cream cheese
1 teaspoon Salt
½ cup Fat free cheese
3 cups Cooked pasta; drained
\N \N Black pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat and onion in large skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer 7-8 minutes. In large bowl combine green pepper, cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Spray large casserole dish (9x13-inch) with non-stick cooking spray. Cover bottom with pasta. Add a layer of meat mixture. Pour cottage cheese mixture for next layer and top with shredded fat free cheese.Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Entire recipe makes 8 servings.
