Yield: 8 Servings
|1 pounds||Ground turkey breast or chicken breast|
|¾ cup||Onion; chopped|
|½||Green pepper; chopped|
|1 cup||1% cottage cheese|
|1 can||(8-oz) tomato sauce|
|3 tablespoons||Lite sour cream|
|6 tablespoons||Lite cream cheese|
|½ cup||Fat free cheese|
|3 cups||Cooked pasta; drained|
|Black pepper to taste|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat and onion in large skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer 7-8 minutes. In large bowl combine green pepper, cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Spray large casserole dish (9x13-inch) with non-stick cooking spray. Cover bottom with pasta. Add a layer of meat mixture. Pour cottage cheese mixture for next layer and top with shredded fat free cheese.Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Entire recipe makes 8 servings.
