Lamb kebabs

2 | cloves | Garlic |
1 | pounds | Lean ground lamb |
1 | cup | Dry bread crumbs |
1 | Egg | |
¼ | cup | Low-fat skimmed milk yogurt |
1 | teaspoon | Cumin |
¼ | teaspoon | Mint leaves; dried, optinal |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Hot sauce; optional |
2 | Limes; cut into wedges |
Directions
Position oven rack 3-4" below heat source, pre-heat broiler and set rack in broiler pan. Or fire up the BBQ grill. Grate onion; mince garlic. Combine all the ingredients except the limes in a large mixing bowl. Shape into 12 2" meatballs. Thread meatballs with alternating lime wedges onto 4 skewers. If using wooden skewers don't forget to soak them in water the night before doing this recipe.
Broil or grill until browned and cooked through; about 4-5 min per side.
