Junkyard pot luck

Measure Ingredient
1 each Onion, coarsely chopped
2 eaches Carrots, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
3 mediums All-purpose potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 medium Zucchini, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
8 eaches Ounces macaroni
2 cups Cooked meat, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1 each Clove garlic, minced
1 cup Basic Dog Broth
6 eaches Ounces tomato paste
1 tablespoon Tamari sauce
½ teaspoon Dried thyme
½ teaspoon Dried oregano

\N \N Freshly ground black pepper

Place onion, carrots, potatoes, and zucchini in a steamer and steam vegetables over boiling water 15 to 20 minutes, or until potatoes are soft. While vegetables are steaming, cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain and reserve. Place steamed vegetables in large saucepan. Add meat, kidney beans, garlic, and broth; stir well. Bring mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook, until beans and meat are heated through, stirring frequently. Add tomato paste, tamari, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper to taste, and macaroni; simmer 20 minutes, adding more broth or water if mixture becomes to dry. Makes about 3 quarts.
