Ingredients

2eachesCarrots, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
3mediumsAll-purpose potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1mediumZucchini, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
8eachesOunces macaroni
2cupsCooked meat, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1can(16 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1eachClove garlic, minced
1cupBasic Dog Broth
6eachesOunces tomato paste
1tablespoonTamari sauce
½teaspoonDried thyme
½teaspoonDried oregano
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Place onion, carrots, potatoes, and zucchini in a steamer and steam vegetables over boiling water 15 to 20 minutes, or until potatoes are soft. While vegetables are steaming, cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain and reserve. Place steamed vegetables in large saucepan. Add meat, kidney beans, garlic, and broth; stir well. Bring mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook, until beans and meat are heated through, stirring frequently. Add tomato paste, tamari, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper to taste, and macaroni; simmer 20 minutes, adding more broth or water if mixture becomes to dry. Makes about 3 quarts.
