Jade sauce for rice, fish, pasta

½cupSpinach leaves; firmly packed
1teaspoonGrated orange peel
¼cupFresh mint leaves
½cupFresh cilantro leaves
12largesFresh basil leaves
2Green onions; chopped
2tablespoonsDry sherry
2tablespoonsWhite vinegar
2tablespoonsDark sesame oil
1tablespoonSoy sauce
2teaspoonsHoisin sauce
2teaspoonsSugar
½teaspoonChili sauce; Asian
½teaspoonSalt

Directions

Place ingredients in a blender or food processor container. Blend until pureed. Refrigerate.

Uses: Make "Jade Rice". Serve grilled meats and fish on a puddle of this sauce. Add to pasta. Serve as a dip for crudites or melon pieces.
