12 ounces Mozarella, Boccancini or Fior Di Latte, thinly sliced
12 \N Basil leaves
1 pounds Tomatoes, ripe, cored, thinly sliced
⅓ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
\N x Salt
\N x Pepper, freshly ground

This super-simple Italian classic is a treat with garden-fresh tomatoes. For the best results, use the best quality ingredients.


1. On platter or individual serving plates, alternate cheese slices, basil leaves and tomato slices. Season with salt and pepper to taste and drizzle oil on top. Cover and let stand at least 30 minutes before serving. Serves 4 to 6.
