Hot and spicy pumpkin chutney

Ingredients

| 4 | cups | Cooked pumpkin pulp |
| 1½ | cup | Dark brown sugar |
| 1¼ | cup | Malt vinegar |
| ½ | cup | Coarse-chopped onion |
| ½ | cup | Coarse-chopped raisins |
| 3 | eaches | Jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped |
| 2 | tablespoons | Fine-chopped garlic |
| 2 | tablespoons | Grated fresh ginger root |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
Directions
Place all ingred.'s in large saucepan & bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes or until thick. Ladle chutney into hot sterilized half-pint jars leaving ½-inch headspace. Wipe rims clean. Apply lids according to manufacturer's directions and process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
