Yield: 4 servings
|1 tablespoon||All purp flour|
|1 dash||White pepper|
|2 cups||Cheddar cheese, shredded|
|½ pounds||Elbow macaroni, cooked|
|½ cup||Canned tomatoes, chpd, drain|
Automat favorite. Reheats well. Preheat oven 350F. Grease 1 1/2qt baking dish. Melt butter in saucepan; whisk in flour; add milk, slat, peppers. Stir constantly until mixture thickens and is smooth, 8-10 mins. Add hceese; cook, stirring until melted. Remove from heat. In mixing bowl, combine macaroni and sauce. Stir in tomatoes and sugar.
Transfer to baking dish. Bake until surface browns, 30-40 mins.
