Homemade granola bars

| 3 | tablespoons | Toasted wheat germ |
| ⅓ | cup | Honey |
| 6 | tablespoons | Margarine; melted |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
| ⅓ | cup | Chopped peanuts |
| ⅓ | cup | Raisins |
| 4 | teaspoons | Sesame seed |
| ⅓ | cup | Peanut butter |
| 2 | Beaten eggs | |
| ¾ | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| ¾ | cup | Powdered sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon | Milk |
| 1 | dash | Vanilla |
Directions
POWDERED SUGAR GLAZE
In small mixing bowl combine rolled oats and wheat germ. Combine honey, half the margarine and cinnamon; add to oats mixture. Spread into 10 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring once.
Cool. Transfer granola mixture to the medium mixing bowl. Add peanuts, raisins and sesame seed. In a small saucepan, combine peanut butter and remaining margarine. Cook and stir over medium heat until melted. Remove from heat; add eggs and stir. Add vanilla. Pour over granola; toss to coat.
Press mixture into 10 x 8 x 2-inch pan. If desired, prepare Powdered Sugar Glaze and drizzle over bars. Apply plastic wrap over pan; store in refrigerator. Cut into bars with table knife. Makes 16 bars.
Powdered Sugar Glaze (optional): In a bowl, beat all ingredients until smooth.
