Homemade almond liqueur

Ingredients
| Quantity | Ingredient | |

| 1 | cup | ;Water |
| ½ | cup | Sugar |
| ½ | teaspoon | Almond extract |
| 1½ | cup | Vodka; OR brandy, to taste |
Directions
Mix sugar and water and boil till sugar is dissolved into a syrup.
Cool completely. Mix ½ cup syrup and mix with vodka & extract. Use the other half for another bottle. Store a few days before using.
