Holiday pumpkin loaf

Ingredients

1 | cup | Sugar |
1 | each | Egg |
1 | can | (16 oz) pumpkin |
1 | teaspoon | Pumpkin pie spice |
½ | teaspoon | Ground cloves |
½ | teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
1 | cup | Chopped nuts |

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease loaf pan or bundt pan. Beat all ingredients in large bowl at low speed, scrapping bowl constantly, for 30 seconds. Beat at medium speed, scrapping occasionally, for 4 minutes. Pour into pan. Bake until wooden toothpick comes out clean(about 1 hour & 10 minutes). Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
If desired, cool completely & spread with browned butter glaze.
GLAZE: Heat ¼- cup butter in saucepan over medium heat until delicate brown. Remove from heat. Mix in 1- cup powdered sugar. Stir in 2 - 4 Tbsp hot water, 1 Tbsp at a time until desired consistency.
Decorate with green frosting, maraschino cherries for holly berry wreath.
