Hanukkah doughnuts

3½ | cup | All-purpose flour |
¼ | cup | Cocoa powder |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | cup | Buttermilk |
\N | \N | Canola oil for frying |
Directions: In a large bowl, beat together the oil, 1 cup of sugar, eggs and egg yolk with an electric mixer until fluffy. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. With a wooden spoon, stir the flour mixture into the oil mixture, alternately with the buttermilk. To fry, heat the canola oil to 340 degrees. Drop the batter by tablespoons into the hot oil and cook in batches until doughnuts are golden in color all over. Drain the doughnuts on a paper towel and roll them in the remaining 2 cups of sugar. Serve hot.
