3 tablespoons | Margarine |
3 cups | Ham; finely chopped |
1 \N | Green pepper; finely chopped |
½ cup | Onion; chopped |
½ cup | Swiss cheese; grated |
½ cup | Cheddar cheese; grated |
1 pack | Puff pastry; thawed but kept cold |
Melt margarine in frying pan. Add ham, pepper and onion and saute lightly. Drain excess liquid. Mix cheeses together in bowl. Remove one sheet of pastry dough from refrigerator and lay out on cutting board. Spread evenly with half of the ham mixture, leaving 1" off far edge bare. Cover with half of the cheese mixture. Roll up pastry and place seam side down. Cut into 1½" thick slices. Lay slices flat in 13 x 9 pan leaving 1" space between each slice. Refrigerate baking dish. Repeat process with second pastry.
