Green chili sourdough bites

1can(4-ounce) diced mild green chilies
½cup(1 stick) butter; room temperature
1cupMayonnaise
½poundsJack cheese; shredded
1Loaf sourdough bread; cut into bite-size pieces

Directions

Notes: From Orange County Register Preliminaries: Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

1. In a medium bowl, mix chilies, butter and mayonnaise until smooth. Add cheese and stir to combine.

2. Spread chili mixture on bread pieces. Place in single layer on baking sheet. Bake until bubbly and crisp.

Yield: 12 servings
