½Jalapeno chile, stemmed, seeded if desired; roughly ch
2Garlic cloves,; peeled
½bunchCilantro,; leaves only
1teaspoonSalt
½smallRed onion,; peeled and chopped
Juice of 2 limes
2tablespoonsWater
2tablespoonsOlive oil

Directions

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree until a chunky paste is formed. Serve at room temperature.

Yield: ½ cup
