Greek walnut dip

Measure Ingredient
750 grams Fresh walnuts
10 Cloves garlic; minced
100 grams Italian style bread; crusts removed
2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
1 cup Olive oil; depending on (1 to
2)
; freshness of nuts
2 teaspoons Salt; or to taste
1 teaspoon Ground pepper
1 cup Finely chopped parsley
½ cup Basil leaves; shredded
½ cup Toasted; crushed walnuts

In a food processor, puree the walnuts, garlic and bread until the mixture is 'mealy' but not pureed. Add the lemon juice, then, with the motor running, add the olive oil in a thin stream, just until the desired consistency is reached. Add salt and pepper to taste, stir through the parsley, basil and toasted walnuts and serve.
