Golden shrimp casserole

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
5 slices Bread; cut in 1/2\" cubes
¼ cup Butter (or marg.); melted
½ cup Mushrooms; sliced
2 cups Shrimp; peeld,cookd,deveined
2 cups American cheese; shredded
3 \N Eggs; beaten
2 cups Milk
½ teaspoon Salt
\N dash Black pepper
\N dash Paprika

Brown bread cubes in butter; remove from skillet and set aside. Cook mushrooms in butter for about 10 minutes. In a buttered 1-1/2quart casserole dish, alternate layers of bread cubes, mushrooms, shrimp, and cheese.

Combine eggs, milk, and seasonings; pour over layers. Place casserole dish in a pan of hot water, and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
