Golden shrimp casserole

| 5 | slices | Bread; cut in 1/2\" cubes |
| ¼ | cup | Butter (or marg.); melted |
| ½ | cup | Mushrooms; sliced |
| 2 | cups | Shrimp; peeld,cookd,deveined |
| 2 | cups | American cheese; shredded |
| 3 | Eggs; beaten | |
| 2 | cups | Milk |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| dash | Black pepper | |
| dash | Paprika | |
Directions
Brown bread cubes in butter; remove from skillet and set aside. Cook mushrooms in butter for about 10 minutes. In a buttered 1-1/2quart casserole dish, alternate layers of bread cubes, mushrooms, shrimp, and cheese.
Combine eggs, milk, and seasonings; pour over layers. Place casserole dish in a pan of hot water, and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
