1 cup | Whole Wheat Flour |
1 tablespoon | Baking Powder |
1 cup | Shredded Carrots |
½ cup | Raisins |
1 teaspoon | Cinnamon |
1 cup | Water |
½ cup | Nonfat Dry Milk |
½ cup | Maple Syrup |
2 \N | Egg Whites |
2 tablespoons | Canola Oil |
1. In a large bowl combine the oats, cereal flakes, flour and baking powder. Stir in carrots, raisins and cinnamon. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the water and dry milk. 3. Whisk in the maple syrup, egg whites and oil. Pour over the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined; do not overmix. let stand for 10 minutes. 4. Coat a 9 X 13-inch baking dish with no-stick spray. Pour in the
batter and level the top with a spatula. 5. Bake in a 350 F oven until firm to the touch, 25-35 minutes. 6. Turn off heat but leave the pan in the oven, with the door ajar, for 2 hours. 7. Cut into bars.
