½ cup | Skim milk --at room |

2 \N | Egg whites -- whipped |
½ tablespoon | Molasses |
½ cup | Applesauce -- at room |

Prepare skillet with cooking spray and heat on medium until hot. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt . In another mixing bowl, combine milk, egg whites, molasses, and applesauce. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until moistened. Ladle in the batter, using 2 or more tablespoons per cake. Cook for 2 minutes, then flip carefully and cook for 2 minutes more.
Repeat with remaining batter.
