Garlic and oregano chicken

Measure Ingredient
4 \N Split chicken breasts
\N \N Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons Dried oregano
10 \N Minced garlic cloves
2 teaspoons Lemon juice
4 tablespoons Olive oil
¾ cup White wine


Trim excess fat from the chicken breasts. Season with salt and pepper.

Sprinkle chicken with the oregano and then rub the garlic over the chicken.

Pour the lemon juice and olive oil onto the chicken. Arrange chicken skin side down in a baking dish. Pour the white wine over the chicken and let marinate for 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn the chicken right side up and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Baste with pan juice.
