Honey-nut loaves

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Butter; softened
1 cup Honey
2 Eggs
2 cups All-purpose flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
⅓ cup Milk
1 cup Maraschino cherries; chopped
½ cup Chopped raisins
½ cup Chopped walnuts

Cream butter & honey. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour & baking powder in separate bowl. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Stir in cherries, raisins & walnuts. Bake in 2 greased & floured loaf pans at 350 for 40-50 minutes or until done. Yields 2 loaves. May be baked in mini-loaf pans at 350 for 30 minutes or until done.
