Fresh butter beans and okra

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Fresh butter beans; (white or speckled)
1 pounds Pickled pork meat
\N \N Salt to taste
1 medium Chopped onion
½ pounds Small okra
½ teaspoon Sugar

Boil pickled pork meat about ½ hour. Add shelled butter beans, onions, salt and sugar in about 2 cups of water until beans are soft when mashed with finger. About 10 minutes before done add okra to beans and sprinkle with black pepper.
