Yield varies widely depending on the size of the tomatoes.
1. Select firm, sound, green tomatoes.
2. Wash, core, and slice ¼ inch thick.
3. Tray freeze, without blanching, then pack in containers or bags with layer of freezer wrap between slices. Seal, label, and freeze.
4. Thaw and coat to fry.
