Flower buns

1 can 8 oz. refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

\N \N Poppy seeds

About 20 minutes before serving, preheat oven to 450 F. Grease large cookie sheet. Separate biscuits, then press each until twice its original size. With kitchen scissors, make 5 to 6 snips, from out edge almost to center. Place on cookie sheet and shape "Petals" to form "flower". Repeat with remaining dough. Brush each "flower" with milk; sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake 6 to 8 minutes, or until golden-brown. Makes 8.

Bland diet: Prepart as directed but substitute Parmesan cheese for poppy seed.

Diabetic Diet: Exchanges per bun = 1 bread.

Low-purine diet: Prepare as directed.

Low-sodium diet: Prepare as directed for bland diet.
