|2 tablespoons||Shallots, minced|
|1 each||Clove garlic, whole|
|1 tablespoon||Worcestershire sauce|
|1 teaspoon||Soy sauce|
|2 eaches||Filet mignons (6oz each)|
|3 eaches||Ounces brandy|
|1 tablespoon||Cashew nuts, coarsely chopped|
A VALENTINE'S DINNER FOR 2
Heat 2 tbsp butter in skillet and add shallots and garlic. Saute over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove and discard garlic. Increase heat to high, add worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Place filets in pan. Let cook 3 minutes on each side, turning once for slightly rare. Transfer filets to warm dish. Deglaze pan with brandy and then ignite with a match. Remove pan from heat, swirly in remaining butter to thicken sauce. Pour over filets and top with cashew nuts.
