Festive macaroni shrimp salad

Ingredients

| 5 | cups | Water |
| 1½ | pounds | Shrimp |
| 3¾ | cup | Corkscrew macaroni-uncooked |
| 1 | pack | Chinese pea pods - 6 oz |
| ½ | cup | Water chestnuts; sliced, Drained |
| ½ | cup | Mayonnaise |
| 2 | tablespoons | Parsley; chopped |
| 1½ | tablespoon | Pimiento; chopped |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Pepper; coarsely ground |
Directions
Bring water to a boil - add shrimp and cook 3 to 5 minutes - drain well, rinse with cold water and chill. Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain - rinse with cold water and drain again. Cook pea pods according to package directions - drain, set aside. Combine shrimp, macaroni, pea pods and remaining ingredients in a large bowl, toss lightly until well coated - may add more mayonnaise if needed. Chill at least 6 hours.
