1 pounds | Candied cherries, chopped |
1 pounds | Candied pineapple, chopped |
1 pounds | Dates, chopped |
6 cups | Pecans, chopped |
½ cup | Buttermilk |
3 \N | Eggs, well beaten |
2 teaspoons | Cinnamon |
1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
1 teaspoon | Allspice |
½ teaspoon | Nutmeg |
½ teaspoon | Cloves |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to sugar/butter/eggs mixture. Pour batter into chopped fruits and nuts. Mix. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake 25 min. in a 300 degree oven. Do not burn.
