Dirty rice casserole (kathryn lawrence)

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground beef (up to)
10 \N Chicken livers
2 \N Stalks celery; chopped
2 \N Fresh onion blades; chopped
1 tablespoon Bacon drippings
1 cup Instant rice
\N \N Salt and pepper
\N \N Thyme
\N \N Sweet basil
\N \N Parsley flakes
\N \N Garlic powder
1 \N Pod red pepper (optional)

Boil livers, brown beef, saute celery and onions. Combine with seasonings to taste. Use chicken broth, if needed to thin. Simmer until rice is cooked.
