Dilled green bean salad

Ingredients

| 100 | grams | French beans, trimmed |
| 1 | Garlic clove; crushed | |
| 6 | Sprigs of dill | |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Dill seeds |
| A few mustard seeds | ||
| 2 | tablespoons | Sugar |
| 100 | millilitres | Cider vinegar |
| 1 | tablespoon | Salt |
Directions
Steam the beans until tender but still crisp - 3-4 minutes. Cool and put them in the bottom of a glass dish. Add the crushed garlic, dill sprigs and seeds, and mustard seeds. In a saucepan combine the sugar, vinegar, salt and a little water, and bring to the boil. Pour the mixture over the beans and leave to cool. Chill it overnight, covered.
