Delicious apple pie

Ingredients

| 1 | Egg, beaten | |
| ¾ | cup | Light cream | 
| ¾ | cup | Sugar | 
| 1 | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon | 
| ¼ | teaspoon | Ground nutmeg | 
| 4 | mediums | Red Delicious apples, peeled/sliced | 
| Pastry for double-crust pie, 9\" size | ||
| 2 | tablespoons | Butter or margarine | 
| 1 | tablespoon | Milk | 
| 1 | tablespoon | Cinnamon sugar | 
Directions
In a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch until dissolved. Add egg, cream sugar, cinnamo nand nutmeg. place apples in a large bowl; pour cream mixture over and stir to coat. Line a 9" pie pan with half of pastry. Pour apple mixture into crust; dot with butter. top with remaining pastry; flute edges and cut slits in top. Brush with milk and spirnkle with cinnamon-sugar.
